PCC Confusion

Hi ! I am a 35 years old EE applicant. Was going through the IRCC website and they state that PCCs are required for the last 10 years duration (including countries stayed in for 6 months or more in a row).

I have a resident history in another country that falls out of the 10 year span. I left the country permanently 11 years ago.

Do I still need a PCC for that?

Just to be clear, the personal history section would not be showing this stay since it is outside the 10 year mark.

so how would they be knowing of the past visits - that is my query

They run background checks on you. Wouldn't be terribly difficult for them to dig out your travel history

I would still get it... cos sometimes they ask for history since age 18 instead of from 10 years ago

That is true. You never know with the VOs.
