Pcc clarification

Hi All,
I need some advice regarding PCC.
I got ITA and I am primary applicant. I have spousal information on my passport while my spouse does not have husband name on her passport. Do we have to apply for passport reissue for my wife before apply for PCC for her or original marriage certificate is valid for proof.
I have many different answers. Request all to please help on this matter

Marriage certificate should be okay, no need to apply for a new passport. Details are given on the first section of the checklist on BLS
