PCC clarification

Hi,

I am a citizen of India, who is the primary applicant of my PR application, residing in US for the last 6.5 years along with my family.
I am writing this in regard to my wife’s PCC requirements. My wife was employed with a China based company and as part of work she had to travel to China and stayed there from 2008 July 17 to 2009 July 8th. As I understand, PCC requirement states that if any of us stayed in any countries for more than 6 months in the last 10 years we need to submit the PCC from that country. I have received ITA in the latest draw (Dec 19th) and I would like to know if I accept (or submit) the ITA application after January 8th 2019, would my wife require to provide PCC for China as her stay in China would be less than 6 months for the period of last 10 years.
I would be really thankful if I can get a response on this as soon as possible because I already tried to contact china embassy and other alternatives including third party consultants for obtaining PCC but so far not received a promising response from any of them.

Since she will technically be within 6 months period by the time I submit the application (after Jan 8, 2009) should we really pursue for China PCC?

Note: I am working on PCC for India and have already received PCC from US.

No one here can tell you for certain. We don't work for IRCC.

My guess is that IRCC will count back from the date of ITA - so the China PCC will be required.
