PCC application is under review at Indian Embassy/Consulate

Someone please help me with this-
my status hasn’t changed for the last 10 days Passport seva. It reflects “Application under review at Indian embassy/ consulate. Does that mean it’s in Canada’s Indian embassy? How long did it take for your process to move from this status.

Same is with me. From last 5 days on same status of " Application is under review of Indian embassy/counslate.

Update: Police verified and status changed to Police Verification Report is clear.PCC is available for issuance. Hope it works out for you

Nope After clear report : took 10 -12 days
10 days just to print the pcc and 2 days for purolator shipment.

Hi, so will there be 2 updates from PCC has been printed? I followed up on my PCC (applied in person on April 19) and was told PCC has been printed and dispatched to BLS. I reached out to BLS a couple days later and they say they haven't got it from Consulate. Will there be any update while Consulate sends report to BLS and another update when BLS ships it to us?

Hi,

After PCC initiated state, I got it clear by regional police station and again it's status coming as under review. Ideally, it was suppose to change to 'PCC is Clear' or something else. But why below state again?

PCC Application is submitted
PCC application is under review at Indian Embassy/Consulate.
PCC verification initiated with police station.

Now again , it's PCC application is under review at Indian Embassy/Consulate. Why???

I'm in the same situation.

Hi...I submitted PCC application on April 07th at BLS Ottawa and on 08th April got an update that it has been received at High Commission of Ottawa. From that day till today, almost 40 days, no other update...every 2 days, I send mail to email id in Ottawa High Commission website...no response...made multiple calls to multiple phone numbers in their website...no response...my file hasn't reached respective police station in India, because we have been calling and asking at police station everyday...can someone help me or give me some information regarding this...did any if you guys face similar situation? My deadline to submit PCC is May 30th...I don't know ow what else can I do..

PCC is now taking longer than earlier, and it's very slow. Your status will be updated once it's processed. Don't worry about it. From Australia(Adelaide), it takes almost 4-5 months. For Canada, you will get it in 2-3 months. On each step, you will see an updated status in your application, even when they send you an email before they initiate police verification.
