Hey guys,

I got my ITA yesterday under CEC and my consultant asked for PCC . I've came to Canada in 2014 on study visa. Do I need to show PCC for the time I lived in Canada and show proof of funds regardless I have a full time job.

You don't need PCC for Canada but you need it for every country you have live in for 6months or more in the past 10 years.

Also, you do not need proof of funds if you have a valid job offe

You do not need PCCs for time spent in Canada. You do need PCCs for every other country you lived in, since the age of 18, for at least 6 months, over the last 10 years.

Also, if you get an ITA for CEC class, there is no proof of funds requirement.

I got ITA under CEC and I am already in Canada for 1+ year but they still asked me for Proof of Funds and it is required.
So don't assume you won't need it for sure. Simply get your bank statements stamped by the bank and any other funds from out of canada.

Did you have a valid job offer at the time? That will be the instance where you have to show proof of funds

The Proof of Funds requirement seems to be dependent on the answer to the question asked in the application "How much funds will you bring to Canada". If the provided answer is a non-zero value then proof-of-funds upload button shows up else it doesn't.
At the time of making the profile most of the people provide a non-zero number as at that time it is upto the IRCC to decide the category of application FSW or CEC.
If one is confident that he/she will fall under CEC then at the time of profile creation itself the answer to this question can be provided as 0.

For my application, even though I was confident that I will fall under CEC, I provided a non-zero value before ITA. After ITA, when I started filling-up the application I observed the proof-of-funds under required document. I changed the value to 0 and this requirement went away.

My eligibility is "recommended pass" as of today. So I am hopeful doing a change after ITA had no impact.

This makes sense. I did add a NON ZERO number and I have Job offer, Pay slips, T4 etc. May be that's why they asked me for Proof of funds.

Alternatively, there are the directions provided by IRCC :):

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?qnum=1145&top=29

"Note: You do not have to meet the funds requirement if you were invited to apply under the Canadian Experience Class.

The system currently asks all applicants to provide a proof of funds document. If you don’t need to provide proof of funds, you must upload a letter explaining either that you have been invited to apply under the Canadian Experience Class, or that you have a valid job offer."

SO: CEC applicants are exempt from proof of funds. Period. If you are asked for proof of funds, that is because the system is programmed that way, and IRCC tells you to simply upload a statement in lieu of proof of funds.

one more question jes_ON. If the address doesn't have a street number (its a mandatory field) what do I mention there?
You probably realize this but just to be sure there is no semantic confusion, what they are really asking for is a house or building number (not a number of the street itself).

Otherwise - have you tried "0" or N/A?

Yes, I tried "NA" and it accepted it. I submitted my application yesterday. Now the wait begins.
