So I fill out the receipt with my information, but what do I put for the "Client ID"??? I don't have that...

Glad it worked out

If you have ever applied for a visa before, call CIC and ask them for your client ID. If not, just write 'n/a' or none since you won't get one until they process your application.

Just to be sure, I should fill in my information (I'm the sponsor), correct?

I'll be sure to write 'none' for the Client ID (Canadian citizen, so no visas for me).

That will work. Congrats - and don't forget to take a moment to enjoy the milestone when you mail it AFTER you take a photo of the package for posterity so you can remember what it looked like all done

Yay!! How did you get the payment to work? I called my dad in Canada earlier and he gave me his credit card info and i'm going to mail him a cheque. I'm going to try later after my kid's rec. class...does the online payments work 24/7? I hope it works so i can send it tomorrow!!!
