Payment process - Outland

Hi all,

My wife is a PR in Canada and I am in India. We are applying through Outland for Sponsorship.
All forms are ready except for payment. My wife does not have credit limit more than 500 CAD in her Credit Card and hence we are trying to apply through 'Pay at Financial Institution' option.

In CIC website it says "you must get an original receipt of payment form IMM 5401 to pay at a financial institution (such as a bank or Western Union). This form is not available online. You must order an original receipt by mail.
You must include a copy of this receipt IMM5401 with your paper application.
CIC does not accept money orders and bank drafts as payment."

From what I understand - we need to order for form which takes 2 weeks to be sent to Address given and then include this with the forms and send to Mississauga office.

If this is true, do we need to really wait for 2 weeks to get the form for submission?
Do we need to pay the fees in Financial Institution only after the receiving the form?

Just because we cannot pay online do we need to wait for 2 weeks for submission and Payment?

Yes, that is correct.

Do you know anyone else who has a higher limit credit card? The card doesn't have to be in you or your wife's name. If either of you has a family member or friend with a card, you can give them the cash and they can pay with their credit card.

If you can't do that, another option is to get a prepaid credit card. Your wife in Canada can get one at several different places; I know that Moneymart sells a prepaid VISA card with a fairly high limit and it is quite easy to get.
