Just wondering regarding the payment of the study permit application, can it be made from Canada? Will Visa officers know that payment was made for a person who is applying outside of Canada rather than from the applicant's own country?

Any suggestions?

I don't think it matters. I've however seen issues when the same credit card was used to pay for different study permit applications (not from same family), like if a representative was paying for multiple applicants when the applicants have not declared they are using a paid representative...

lets assume, I am in Canada and paying for someone who is applying for a study permit will an officer suspect why a Canadian pays for a person's study permit application?

I think they see the payment made from Canada and they can think ok someone in Canada made a payment for a study permit applicant

Thats not true. They will see application fee paid and thats all matter. There is no guideline requiring payment to come from only applicant, and no third party.
