Hey guys - I am just about to pay my fees but it's asked me where I'm sending the application to - I left most of my materials at home (am now in the office) and just wanted to be sure that if I'm doing outland (filing in London UK), I send the application to Mississauga right??

Yep, you've got it right. Outland = Mississauga.

Rinnerz - if I am the Canadian sponsoring my common-law partner who is British and we both live in the UK - are we considered "family class"? They don't make this straight forward do they.....

Yes, a Canadian sponsoring his/her spouse (husband/wife, common-law, or conjugal partner) would be doing so under the Family Class.

Straightforward? What's that? :P

Not complex, hard or difficult - should be fairly easy to to :)

Except when immigration / bureaucrats are part of the process.

I was being sarcastic :).

Haha, agreed on both points.

Ok - so I'm paying for 1 - right of permanent residence fee, 1 - sponsorship applicant, 1 - principal applicant. Is that it?? I thought it was so much more expensive but that's only $1,040!

Do you guys reckon I'll need a "permanent residence card"?

Thank you, thank you, thank you! Once I've paid - we're ready to file!!!

$1040 is exactly correct. You do not need to pay for a permanent resident card. That fee is for others who need their current cards replaced or renewed. When your spouse becomes a PR, they will mail him one without an additional charge :).

Rinnerz, you are a rockstar! Thanks!!!
