Application Received: 07/21/2016
PPR: Jan 03,2018
PP sent: Jan 04
PP received: Jan 05
Approval: not updated yet, WAITING...
Tracker activated: not yet...
PP in hand: believe soon...

My bf and I received PPR at the same day, even though I submitted my application about one month later than him. My friends who submitted applications in August and later have not gotten PPR yet. Hope I can get back PP soon, so that we can go back to China before Chinese New Year (Feb 15). Finger cross for all of us

Hi, do they tell you your application approved or not?
My passport delivered on Dec 13, I called last Thursday, that agent told me my PP and COPR send to pringting room since Dec 28, she said my appllication has been approved, even my cic account still showing in process.
I will travel out of country soon, kinda worried about this
I just called phone system, in process

if it got to the printing room I assume it must be approved.

did you purchased a signature required sticker?..coz it needs for them to ask their signature upon delivery..

I did not purchase the signature option but the funny thing is when i sent my PR application in 2016 it was signed even tho i did not purchase signature option. My confusion arises because I dropped my PP at Canada post at around 9pm (Edmonton) a little earlier from their closure time. The lady told me it will picked tomorrow (Jan 9) and will be delivered on Jan 11. Last night at about 9pm it said in transit at Edmonton facility and this morning at 10.09 it showed out for delivery and then delivered at 10.12. There is no way that it would have been delivered by road that fast. As per my knowledge xpresspost goes via road so I am little confused and the 3 minute gap between out for delivery and delivered also dont make sense

Mine says "10:26am out for delivery" and "10:28am delivered" I heard CIC will assign an employee to pick up those mails from Canada Post everyday. No need to worry about your's cuz it's delivered!

I understand. I am not overly worried about the 3 minute gap between out for delivery and delivered. My concern is how it went from edmonton to ottawa in less than 12 hours when the drive takes 36 hours

That makes me feel a little better. To my knowledge Canadapost delivered xpresspost via ground. Maybe they have upgraded and started using airplanes now

Why this machine always says background in process. where you see "approved" on your status. I see decision made status for my application on CIC website. Thanks

When it's approved the auto system will say "we are pleased to confirm that your app has been approved". I don't have mycic account I just called the system.
