Hello,

Anyone not from US or Canada sending their passports? I wrote to the e-mail because there weren't specific address for the outlanders so still waiting for reply.

And should I use DHL or some other company? The post office is not the most reliable thing...

I don't think you should use dhl, because of receiving it back from Ottawa, also some countries have policies about not sending their passports across borders without the named owner.

Received email today (17 Nov) about MyCIC yesterday updated approved and closed.

Waiting for the tracker.

Application approved and Closed - Nov. 17th. The passports (myself and 3 dependents) were delivered on Nov. 4th.

Passport received and signed for in Ottawa today anyone know how long it takes to get approved and closed on your my cic account?

I think it is currently an average of 2 weeks from the day your PP is received to see movements.

You find you app has been approved and closed on my CIC ( if you check regularly), then you get an updated email or the email comes first and you see app approved and closed.

Then your return tracker gets activated 2-3 working days after that.

so an average of 3-3.5 weeks in all.

Copy passports rec'd in Ottawa on Nov 12th for me and my husband, we received email last nite with update on cic account, checked and our application has been approved Nov 17th, was really quick

Whats this. The passport of my family was already dispatched by LVO to VFS Manila today and ready for pick up. LVO received 09 Nov.
Mine, my tracker still not activated.

MyCIC approved/closed 017 Nov.

PP received in Ottawa 13th Nov. Just got CIC update, application approved so happy!! Now just wait for the post to arrive!!
