Passports to CPC Ottawa - July 2016

Hi guys

i have a question in regards to return pp

my app was clsoed on Jul15/Jul16 but my tracker is not activated yet.
I just called call center and the lady told me my passport has been mailed on Jul15th and now i am a little bit worried

Anyone know how long does it take for tracker to show status please?

Canada Post may've picked it only today as 15th was a Friday. Wait till tomorrow.

Still no updates in CIC ( still bg check in progress and final decision pending) ... but I saw a few already saying that the their PP is on the way... Should I call CIC and ask whether they have received my PP or not ...or should i wait for some more time ....

same here. wait till 20th July. usually cic takes 5-6 working days to update profile and dispatch the passport.

Dear Friends, I am a CEC applicant and i am planning to do flag poling @ RAIN BOW bridge . I am hoping to receive the passports back soon to complete the landing as my Work permit expires on July 27th. another question is should I get a new reference letter to show while landing if the immigration officer asks the proof of employment as the current one that I have is 7 months older which I got before submitting my PR application.

It's better to take new reference letter. Also carry last few salary slips. Though not required, but I am planning to carry latest bank statement.

We have the same timeline. I think it takes little bit more time if you are not visa exempt. I am expecting a status change in mycic by end of this week.

COPR received ...................

And the wait continues. What will we all do when we actually have our COPR - how will we spend our free time when we don't have to look at forums and check our emails a hundred times a day

Application status Updated to Approved. But Final decision is still not started and BCG is In-Progress.

So does anyone know what the likelihood is of receiving PPR and then getting rejected after this fact?

At this stage the probability of rejection is almost zero.
