Passports to CPC Ottawa - Aug 2016

Quick question, when you did your landing, do you then wait to get your PR card (ie they automatically know you have landed) or is there something else that you need to do in order for the PR cards to be printed?

They said I didn't need to do anything, just wait for the card to arrive in the mail.

Perfect, thanks! Hopefully the card does not take too long. I see it says around 42 days ... wonder whether that is business days

Now I'm worried whether cic received my passport or not, there is no update since passport delivered on 19th August. ???
Though I checked the courier that I put correct address.

my pp reached on 24th. but no update yet.
i called cic and they said its approved and my passport has gone for printing.
wondering when will it approve and close on my cic

I have the same timeline. Did you see any updates on cic or heard anything about your passport yet ?

I just checked my application is approved, feeling relieved.. but return tracker has not been activated yet.
