Passports to CPC Ottawa - Aug 2016

I used full size envelop. I think they prefer full size because of the size of COPR paper but not sure if sending half size will be a real problem. I dont think so. So have you tried checking your mycic?

I haven't linked MyCIC account with ECAS so I can't check the status there yet. I think I'll just wait it out given that so many of us are still waiting on getting the passports back since it was reached around Aug 24th.

Lots of good news finally.

I called spoke with a Rude OK lady. "Sir passport was received on 30th bal bla bla we cant confirm when they will sent back". LOLOLOLOL

Why they told you you passport was received on 30th I saw that it was actually received on the 23rd of August so there was like one week just to open the envelop?

Somewhere in the mail stream maybe. Maybe they sent it out but CP didn't scan when they receive it. Things seem to be messed up a lot lately.

Hey guys,

I received my passport by mail today. Received PPR on 17th Aug 2016, sent passport on 18th August and it reached on the 19th of August. Application approved and closed on the 31st of August, it was sent back on the 7th of September and I finally received it today

Sent my passport on Aug 23rd, received in Ottawa on 24th. Status updated on Sept 1st and tracking number got atcivated today. Praise the Lord!!!

I can't believe it is taking them 3 weeks to return the passports! I can see people getting their passports back in a week in the first pages of this thread.
What happened CIC?! Please hurry up!!
