you get detail of address to send your passport, if living in Canada or usa, i did send mine to Ottawa.I am currently residing in Canada

i got an email as my application is approved, but that was delayed by a day by then had my passport in hand
 
Here is my timeline:

Category: CEC (Canada)
PP Request Received: Feb 24th, 2017
PP Sent to CPC-Ottawa: Feb 27th, 2017
PP Received by CPC-Ottawa: Feb 28th, 2017
Application Updated (Closed): March 6th, 2017
Tracker activated: March 6th, 2017
PP Received: March 7th, 2017
 
Hi guys,

I am sharing my status and something peculiar in my case. I am now living in BC. here is my timeline

email request for submitting passport 2/3
sent photocopy to Ottawa on 2/6
Ottawa office received on 2/8
MYCIC status changed to "approved" 2/14
still waiting...

and... my mail tracker has no sign since that. My colleague who submitted passport 1 week later than me has received his document 3/10.
Has anyone encounter this? the status changed to approved but you never hear a word after? it's 3 weeks now, is there something gone wrong? where can I inquire about my situation? or I can only wait 5 weeks like CIC website says?

another question is my work permit expires on 4/7, what should I do if I haven't received the approval document?

Mine got delayed by a week, I called Canada post like every single day....in your case, it has been few weeks so I think it's time to follow up little aggressively

It could be as early as tomorrow or it could take a few days. It's hard to say. There have been varied accounts in this thread.

Hi...is thera anybody here applied for temporary resident visa in ottawa and send their passport for the visa? I send my application march 14 received march 16 but until now my returning mail tracker is not activitated yet.. i'm worried coz its been 3 weeks now..
 
Hey guys who ever sent passport to Ottawa, have you noticed the signatures of receiver? it says SCI SCHUITEBOER is what signed it. I want to know if this is the same company signing passport receives for everyone.

I googled it and looks like it is a company in Ottawa.
