hello everybody

how are You guys i have a question please did the embassy take your passport the day for interview or they call you after to give them your passport and make visa and give you back in the same day ??

i need answer pls

I was wondering about the same question. May be somebody can share their experience.
Actually I called to CIC to figure this out. The immigration officer said that in general they can do this the same day, BUT they do NOT guarantee that this will be your (my) case, even if there is everything OK (per your/my opinion) with the application.
I just thinking that since my husband is not a citizen of the country where visa office is, they can't hold his passport more than a day, since he needs to travel back to Canada with me or to his home country(hope not), but anyway, just in case I reserved the return tickets for the next evening after interview, hoping that time will be sufficient.

Any other ideas???
