Did CIC requested it/them or you are asking about the FSWP document checklist? ???

Not FSWP, it is AINP.... my question is in general ....

OK, if you expect to get a Visa stamped, you should send your passport (the real one, not a photocopy). Otherwise just send photocopies of both the documents... It won't hurt whatsoever... 8)
