Hi amazing forum members,

I am an FSW Outland applicant from India residing in the US. My AOR is March 9th and my background has gone to "In progress" last week. I have seen conflicting answers on passport validity; whether it is six months or one year. My passport expires on April 7th, and I would prefer to renew it later in the year (may be from Canada) unless the requirement is for the passport to be valid for a year when I get PPR.

Please can people who have got PPR request advice? Would be great to hear from seniors and other US residents who have got PPR as well.

Your PPR letter will likely come from CPC-Ottawa, which requires 6 months validity.

But in the chance your application was processed by NDVO and they send you PPR letter, I believe they ask for 12 months.

Thank you! My GCMS notes show CPC Ottawa and CPC Vegreville. No mention of transfer to NDVO.
