Hi guys! Anyone here who recently submitted their passport in AUH VO for PR application. How many days now is the processing after they received the passport.

Currently I have completed 31days (to be precise 22working days)

Following to my conversation dated 25th May 2022 with VFS, they said "for PR visa stamping, the process to stamp the PR visa on your passport will take approximately 7 to 30 working days"

So in my case to reach the 30th working day bench mark, I have to wait till 6th April 2022.

But me being optimistic, I am expecting an earliest response from the related bodies so that I can collect my passport with the PR visa stamped.

they are really taking their time for stamping and releasing our passports. I read on other thread that some they are processing it on 10 working days, others are 14 working days. It's case to case basis, I think. Submitted my Passport as well last March 18 for PR visa stamping. We will see how long it go.

Hi Bellatrix, I haven't received my passport yet.

Anyway, I have directly contacted Canadian Embassy at Abu Dhabi through Email. Lets see how well it can workout.
I will definitely keep this group updated ASAP I receive it.

Well, I am just curious to know, what's your status ?

Ramadan is coming in few days and their timings will cut short. I hope their will be no further delays on application processing.

Yeah, received it on April 01. It was 10 working days processing for mine.

congratulations. How long PR visa is granted. Is it upto the medical expiry or less?

I received PPR on 28th of Feb. I am currently in Pakistan and my husband is in UAE. So, we submitted our passports in the respective countries. I received my CoPR earlier this month. But my husband’s passport is still being held onto in Abu Dhabi. Any leads on how long will it take for his visa to process?

It depends on whatever will expire first. But technically we need to land before medical expires.

It depends. Mine took 10 working days. For others more than that. Just have patience your husband will receive it anytime soon.

Do you think its getting delayed because we submitted them seperately? Or does that not make a difference in processing?

I dont think it matters. Their usual process is actually 30 days from the date of passport submission. AUH is actually taking their time to process PPR especially for PR app.

He submitted his on 8th March. Already been more than 30 days. But hey fingers crossed.

I think you need to count for the working days only (Im not sure though). You can raise webform specifically to your VO or to VFS.

April 24th passport submit
April 26th received at IRCC

Does anybody know if they work during Eid?

Hey! A silly doubt, PPR is supposed to come from UAE or from Canada?
