Passport Submission at Canadian Embassy Riyadh

Hi everyone!

My husband has submitted his passport at VFS Riyadh on Aug 19th, 2015 for PR stamping under family sponsorship from New Delhi Visa Office. Any idea when we can expect the passport to come back? Thanks for your help!

13th July guys are still waiting for passport

IT DOESNT MATTER WHAT WAS YOUR VO.. LONDON OR NDVO..

Now our passports are with riyadh and they have LAZY working style..

Thats really disappointing to know....at NDVO....passports are returned in 3 working days if a person lives in delhi...and about a week to 10 days else where in India....hoping in sha allah new updates come next week!

OLD POST 2009

Is there anyone here having the same experience as ours? We have submitted our passports for visa stamping to the PHEP Processing of the High Commission of Canada in London on 9 September 2009. Following the 30-day working period, I tried to email London Office regarding the status of our passports; however, the London Visa office informed us that our passports were already forwarded to the Canadian embassy in Riyadh on 25 September 2009 for onward transmission. I tried to contact the Canadian Embassy in Riyadh, and the operator advised me that someone would contact me on the following day. I waited for TWO weeks but nobody called. I also tried to email them twice, but I only received a confirmation of receipt email. I only kept my correspondence to a minimum to avoid annoyance. Please share your experience on how to followup the embassy regarding this case. Thank you very much.

Canadian Embassy apologizes for visa delays 2011 post

The Canadian Embassy in Riyadh has issued an apology to Saudi citizens applying for Canadian visas, particularly those who have waited a long time to receive them.
“The Embassy of Canada would like to take this opportunity to apologize for recent delays in issuing visas and for the negative impacts these might have had on Saudi applicants,” said a statement issued by the embassy on Sunday.
“The Canadian Embassy would like to assure the citizens of Saudi Arabia that it is working hard to reduce visa processing times,” it added.
According to the Saudi Cultural Bureau in Canada, there are more than 15,000 Saudis studying in more than 13 universities across the country.
In September 2010, Arab News reported on the Canadian Embassy's efforts to speed up its visa application process by eliminating then required medical examinations for entering the country.
Canadian Ambassador to Saudi Arabia David Chatterson announced his country's new visa rules, which also included waiving medical examinations on temporary resident visas for Saudi visitors.

Session will start from 1st sept. But delaying visas during this season this normal fashion of Riyadh embassy.

Every year they are too slow during July August..
