Hello friends, NEED YOUR SUGGESTIONS/ EXPERIENCE badly,
I recieved PPR on 4th September 2015 and Passports were submitted by VFS Khobar ro CHC- Riyadh on 8 September 2015. So my query is, do the CHC- Riyadh call any applicant or not?? As today morning at 10 I recieved a call from this number 011-480-1745 and as I was busy at that time in a meeting I couldn't recieve it. later after the meeting I checked the number in True Caller and found it to be Canadian Embassy in Royadh.......So is this a normal practice or what could be the reason??? I tried call the number several times but no answer, so I called the number given on the website (011-488-2288), and the person recieved confirmed that the number is of the visa section and as they don't have any extension service in the visa section she couldn't transfer the line but asked me my name and passport number s as to transfer the message to the visa section as a reminder that I was unable to recieve the call at that time, and requet to call back...

Please advise is this a normal practice or what could be the reason?? Anyone ever expereienced this before??

They give a call if they require any clarification. I and some other members too receive a call from them regarding family and given name clarification. As my passport have my full name mentioned in given name field and the surname/family name field is empty, so they said that they will put Ahmed as my family name and Muddasir as given name.. They just took confirmation from my side and that's it... Don't worry...

Ahmed, when did you recieved their call?? As I have just submitted the Passports on 8 Sep, so should I consider that they are processing/ have processed my passport for the VISA or still will take more time on it.

Ahmed, when did you recieved their call?? As I have just submitted the Passports on 8 Sep, so should I consider that they are processing/ have processed my passport for the VISA or still will take more time on it.

On 10th September in morning hours,, and the same day I received a sms/email intimating that my processed passports has been dispatched from Riyadh office to Jeddah vfs. I feel that they will call you back again. If you had taken there call you would have got your pp's by now. Anyways I suggest you to contact them, if you don't get any response than you don't have any other option else of waiting.

I received PPR today.... ;D

I sincerely thank all forumites.
This forum guided me through the path... with bundles of information.

I will be submitting passports to VFS Riyadh tomorrow.
Please advice on how to submit passports to VFS Riyadh (Etimad OR Vega).
Any fees, bio-metrics, application form... and yes filling the updated information chart. Thanks.

Submitted passports at VFS Riyadh today.
They say it takes avg 15 days.

No Bio-metrics,
No Forms to be filled,
All with PPR and going for submission... read the 5th page closely !
July and Aug had lengthy times,
Hope i get it in time...

Got passports back today from VFS Riyadh, with Visa stamped and COPR !
VFS received them from the embassy on 4/10/2015,
but only sent me mail today morning !
Post submission it was weekend, so the Canadian embassy actually did it in 1 Day !

Best of luck for all those still waiting.

I submitted my passport at the VFS, Riyadh on 19/Nov. and were received by the embassy on 22/Nov. When do you think I can expect the passport back from the embassy? I have a upcoming travel next week.

It took the embassy 10 working days to return my passport with the visa and COPR. Best of luck to all.
