Passport Stamping after PPR

Hi All
I got the request to send the passport for stamping along with two pictures.
I an relocating to a new state and wont be having a permanent address until 4 weeks.Will be staying in hotel.
Shall we send the passport and and ask them to send it to hotel address or shall i send it to a friends addrress.
The new address is not in my application and want to use solely to get the stamped passports back.
Please advise as they said we need to send the passport withing30 days

Either works. Friend's place is probably a safer option.
The address doesn't have to be the same one in your application.
