You do not have to translate the stamps for applying to citizenship. You need to translate the stamps when you go to the interview. I already have non-English stamps and have applied for citizenship.

If English provides the date and "exit/entry" info, there is no reason to translate.

Most gulf countries hv both Arabic and English words on the same stamp ... It may not make sense to you but better done then sorry to translate them esp bec UAE egate is known to officers
Just my 2 cents

Does it matter if non English stamps are outside the "last 4 years residence" window? Or they still need to be translated?

By logic hw would the officer know that they r out of the 4 period if they are in a different language not in English !! Put ur self in the officers shoes !

I have one stamp in the day before landing to Canada. All words and date are in English, only one word which is meaning "Exit" is in other language. Do you thing it is need to translate?
Below is an image from the Internet for the same stamp in my passport, as you see every thing is in English, only the word KELUAR is in Malay

I had exactly the same stamp and I translated it with certified translator. Just to be on a safe side.
Could you please tell me where you translated it and how much cost? Thanks
