Passport sent to CIC didnt meet 12 month requirement

Hi Guys! So we sent our passports last thursday to Ottawa but the passports were expiring in 11 months and CIC is requiring atleast 12 months before expiration. Is this okay? We applied under CEC program.

It's all fine as Catalina mentioned. They ask for 12 months because the visa is issued for 12 months, whatever number of months you have left on your passport is going to determine the validity of your visa.
