Hello there, I have completed my biometric on 27 December 2023 and still waiting for passport request for visa stamp. Please let me know if anyone have idea how long does it take for passport request?

Hello I sent it on Jan 18 to New York VFS and on Jan 23 IRCC received it. From then the status shows as application received and under process at IRCC on Jan 23 2024. Please let me know if you receive any update. Thanks

OMG, that is scary, I did not know they are taking this long, mine went 2 weeks after yours.
Can we walk in to Canada consulate and request them to process ?

Not sure if we can walk in to consulate. I called them numerous times but left with no further options. I will keep you posted if there is any update on my passport.
