passport request

Hey everyone we just got the passport request today for my wife I would like to thank everyone for there help and guidance on this forum. I'm so happy, the waiting and the worrying is over I hope all the best to all with there applications and have the same speedy processing that we had. once again thank you all

Mississauga received and processed app 13 November
sent application to Vienna on 4 of December
Vienna received application on 4 of January
Vienna Passport request on 4 of February

Does getting the passport request mean you'll get the visa?
We got our request too, but are unsure our status is still in process

depends on where yr visa office policy is but most of the time yes passport request means BRING YOUR PASSPORT FOR THE SHIINNY THING AND YOU CAN GO TO CANADA...
