Hello friends

I got my passport request 2days ago ,but today i got my new passport( renewed ) . Both my current and old passports are attached together. So as i need to submit my passport to cic for stamping .
what should i do should i just send the passport to cic or i need to inform them about my new passport.
please advice

My suggestion is you write a covering letter for the new passports and send both the passports to CIC, you might be fine.

I had the same situation. i got my new passport 3 days before receive my PPR. I just sent the new passport, because as long as your name, family name, date of birth, and country of citizenship are identical to old passport then you don't need to send the old one.

I would send the new passport and a copy of the old one.

did you send any cover letter to explain that you have renewed your passport?

4 days. stamp was done on 24th, and received on 28th.
I did same day (28th) at Rainbow bridge. US side honestly so much nonsense questions for 40 minutes, Canadian side 3 minutes done became landed immigrant.
