Passport request to be submitted to VAC in another country

I am resident in UAE and in the passport request letter I was requested to submit my passport to VAC in Riyadh.
I wonder if anybody had the same situation. I have contacted the VAC here in Abu Dhabi and they are accepting to process my passport. Also I have tried to contact the Canadian Consulate General in London but no response so far.

I think your application was processed in Riyadh. Anyway, dont worry the vac will do the job but maybe it will take some time for the courier service.
