Received PPR today. In the application, I indicated that my partner already has a PR status in Canada.
For some reason, my partner has also received an email today with PPR request.
The processing of your application for permanent residence in Canada is almost complete. You must complete the
following steps within 30 days in order for our office to issue your Confirmation of Permanent Residence and, if
applicable, permanent residence visa. If for any reason you are not able to meet this deadline, please inform us
immediately via the IRCC Web Form with details concerning your situation.”
Has anyone experienced this? My partner already has PR card for almost 2 years, so he clearly doesn't need CPR and residence visa.
Should I just send my passport and not send his?
