Passport Request(PPR) - Submit Passport in Canada despite applying in India

Bring his/her passport with authorization letter from him/her

send it to CiC

Yes I do plan to go to India at the end of the summer... hopefully MR is here by that time and I can bring back his passport!

those applied under CEC class pspt must be submitted to CPP - Ottawa although u choose NDVO

option 1 - send pspt with friend, relative alongwith indemnity letter / authorization
option 2 - apply trv with letter attached stating pstp rqst -

trv is granted for such a scenario

AWESOME!!! The only problem I have is that I live in Canada and my spouse in India, assuming that we gotta send our passports together to CPP-O, I am not sure how it will work out to send his to CPP-O from India and mine from here :/

I m exactly in the same situation....haven't decided yet what to do?

Isn't the TRV granted to the principal applicant's spouse and dependants ?

But we are mainly dealing here with the dependents

as most of the principal applicants are in Canada already.

i thought dependent can also apply for TRV.

so far wtever cased we have been seeing ( I mean to say through our firm) they all refusals, hence I know its only for P.A

above this its your choice - pl take wise decisions.. I am only sharing

Yup they need to carry an authorization form, signed by the person who is sending their passport to Canada and the letter which CPP-O sends asking for their passport!!

My thoughts - In such a scenario, How about write back via email to CIC office and they make arrangements with India Consulate to process the Passport with Visa stamping in India?

Also, in your case - where was the processing done....although you choose New Delhi as processing office, did they process from CPP-O from the begining?

People on this forum have expressed that they have contacted CPP-O and they said the passports have to be submitted at CPP-O, CHC-New Delhi doesnt transfer passport for you from New Delhi to CPP-O!
