Hello, everyone. I hope someone will give me a good answer 
I have a question regarding "passport request". My husband received a letter from the government about 8-9 months ago. In the letter it stated that they need a medical report, security/background checks, and a copies of a valid passport documents. At the time we couldn't submit the passport documents because it has been expired. Just a couple a days ago we have submitted his valid passport documents.
Why did they asked for a valid passport at that time?
Now that we have send them valid passport? What's going to happen next? Does this mean that once they receive valid passport, they can now make a decision? and What kind of a decision could they possibly make?
