Hi there ,

My TRV for Canada got approved finally... :) I got my Passport request on DEC 7 and my question is where i need to send my passport?

If Los Angeles(currently i'm in California) then how much fee i need to pay for it?

Can i send through FEDEX? which courier service will be good?

within how many days i get my Passport stamped?

Hi,

Finallllyyyyyy..... this calls for celebrations. I'm soooo happy for you :) :)

You must send your passport to the VAC closest to where you are (NY/LA).

Fees are USD 31.99.... however, you may want to recheck with the CVAC as the website mentions a fee revision since November 9 (not sure if this fee has been revised too).

It will take about 7 days or so for stamping/passport return

i have gone through that link u specified. But i have few questions regarding,

I'm Planning to send my documents through USPS express mail. Is that okay?

And I need to send my Passport,Passport request letter,VAC consent form,USPS paid Return Envelope,Bank draft(31.99),My Contact Information and mailing address. Thats it right?
 
Hi,

You must send the bank draft/payment to the lockbox address in Salt Lake City (if you're sending your passport to the LA CVAC).

Include a copy of the payment with your documents which you must send to the LA CVAC

I read in the website that I need to send payment to lockbox and my passport to other address..(I found two addresses in the website)am I right? Please reply as I wanna send my passport tomorrow itself because my flight is already booked on 23 dec..am worried whether I receive before that date ot not..

I sent my money order to Utah and passport and other documents to Los Angeles grand Avenue suite.

I sent today through USPS express mail
