Passport Request - anyone submitted electronically?

Hi,
Query about recent PPR - Oct 2 , the passport copy (he is from a VISA exempt country) and copy of PPR letter was uploaded via his myCIC account, as instructed in the letter, and he did mail the 2 photos separately as per instructions with the prepaid self addressed envelope. Anyone else have experience with doing this? He has not received COPR yet - had expected it to only take approx 2 weeks.

just to update - this all worked out fine. The copy of his passport and PPR letter were uploaded electronically, but the photos sent by mail separately, and he received his COPR about 2.5 weeks later.
