Hey there, the Brazilian Consulate in Nagoya, Japan asked me to pick up my new passport yesterday. But the São Paulo VO sent me the PPR a few hours ago.
I had included photocopies of all the stamped pages from my old passport (with visas from Japan and Canada) in my application but I came back to Japan after we sent it to Mississauga so there are more stamps on it now including a Japanese visa valid for 1 year. I did inform the São Paulo VO that I was back in Japan, I explained my situation and seeing that I didn't want to overwhelm them with unnecessary additional documents and that I didn't have a scanner available I only sent proofs of my intention to return to my partner and finished the e-mail with: "I'll gladly provide any additional documents if the officer finds it necessary".
My file moved to 'in Process' and no additional documents were requested.
But I didn't get my new passport in time to inform them of this change before the PPR and now I'm wondering if I have to send my old passport as well in case they want to check it out?
Or is it unnecessary?
I plan on mailing it in about 10 hours so any inputs are welcome.
Thank you in advance for your help!
*and I apologize if I haven't been clear, I'm not good at simplifying my thoughts. :-X
