Passport renewal post AOR (is it good idea) (Should i raise webform)

Hey guys,
I have applied for EE CEC and waiting decision. However, I just realized the pages in my passport are exhaust (there is no blank page). I want to renew my passport now.
Is it okay to raise webform to update IRCC about passport renewal or does it delay the process of immigration?

Has anyone done that?

Yes, I did that 2 weeks ago. If you renew your passport, raise a webform and send the new passport info/scan to IRCC.I don't see why it would delay your application.
