Passport Renewal between AOR & PPR?

Hi,

I submitted my application 2 days back. My kid's passport is getting expired in 7 months from now. Is it ok to apply for renewal of his passport next month, or should I wait for PPR?

If I get PPR after say 4 months, will it be ok to send old passport with remaining validity of 3 months, or will they ask minimum validity of 6 months?

I am trying to avoid passport renewal till process gets completed.

This has been discussed countless times. Your passport needs to be valid for at least 6 months for your COPR.

Thanks, I will apply for renewal of passport now. What will be the process to inform IRCC about new Passport - using "IRCC Webform" at below path?

I have submitted IRCC webform with new passport copy attached..But have not been notified yet..do we get any ackowledgement email regarding this..
