Passport Renewal and PR application

Hi guys,

My (Egyptian) passport expires end of this year (October 2016) and the process to renew it would take about 3 months. I am planning (I haven't created a profile yet) to apply for permanent residency (express entry - skilled worker category) and I was wondering if I should wait until the new passport is issued or is it fine to apply now (using the old passport details) and continue the process later when the new one is issued?

You dont have to wait, you can start the process now. You can always update your application with your new passport via CSE.
