Hi! Please help me!

On June 8th I received the passport request letter saying that I must mail a scan of it plus photos etc to the office in London UK.

I just clicked through my online application and on the upload page there's now a place to upload "passport" and it says "replacement overdue" and that it was needed for June 8th! What does this mean??? I don't understand what they want me to upload and why is it overdue if they sent me the letter the same day?!

Usually, there is no need to upload anything after PPR. You send in a copy of your passport and the photos and they will send you COPR in return.

Did you get a new passport after AOR?

If nothing has changed regarding your passport since you applied, then it is most likely just a glitch in the system. That would be my best guess anyway.

Hello!

No, I haven't applied for a new passport. It is good to know there's usually nothing else to upload. That makes me feel a lot better that maybe it is just a glitch!!!

Thanks you!!

Why don't you just upload your scanned passport, and problem solved?
Sometimes their dates are goofy like that, but no fault of your own. I had a similar issue with an FBI request. They set a deadline for the same day I got the request and even though I uploaded a month later, it was still fine.

Mail your passport copy, and upload scanned online. That's what I would do. Better to do more than less.

Hi Tocanadawego,

Maybe I should... Although I'm not 100% sure that's definitely what they are asking for. I had a problem before with my IEC visa where I uploaded a wrong document and had my application refused. I know I'm probably over thinking it... I'm just so afraid of being rejected! They seem to reject people for really random or trivial things sometimes!

Since you already have PPR, the chance of refusal at this point is essentially 0, so I wouldnt worry about that.

If you are unsure, just upload a passport copy and send the passport copy and photos and there wont be any issues.

You made it through all the hard parts. Getting COPR is the easy part.

Hi All!

Wow, I guess it's common for mistakes to be made. I guess because they must process so many applications!

I'm not sure if I'm supposed to upload anything to do with my passport as they said previously I needed to mail it with photos etc.

However, I discovered something else today! When I click the information icon button it talks about an IEC application! My application is for PR not IEC! So maybe it is a glitch?! Right now I have not uploaded anything... But I have mailed my passport and photos and info such as height etc as requested to the London UK visa office. They should receive it by Monday.

Hi bellaluna,

That is good for me to hear! I've not been able to fund the posts on it. Do you know what people did about it? Did they just not upload anything and ignore it?

Thanks

^ People tend to upload to be on the safe side, but I don't think it matters whether you do or you don't, what really matters is that they physically receive your passport and photos.

BTW, after my PPR, I didn't get a new upload slot.
