I got married recently. My wife has passport and ID document with her fathers name, so should I change it? or I can send the same passport with my application? I have marriage certificate with me.

Hi Luckyboy,

In my case (I am the principal applicant), to avoid future problems, my husband changed his passport to add my name under Spouse, and I changed my passport to change my surname (to that of his surname) and added his name under spouse. And, then sent all the passports (new & old for both of us).

Yes you can use her passport , and mail your marriage certificate or if you are a Pakistani , get new CNIC , and mail copy along with this

Actualy i have my marriage certificate with me and i am the main applicant but my wife has cnic and passport with her fathers name not husband name ao shud i send the same passport and nic with fathers name in my application or do i need to make new passport and nic?
