Passport nearing expiry

hi all,
I submitted my express entry application on September 21, 2018. My estimated completion date is March 2019, my passport expires in July 2019.
What do I do? Do I renew it now ? Or do I wait after the process to finish to renew it ?

You must renew now and inform IRCC of your new passport details once you receive it. Your passport will need to be valid for six months from the date you submit your passport to IRCC (after receiving your PPR). Your current passport will not meet this requirement.

Ok, so I apply for the renewal and then email them via the login portal right ?
Also, will this effect the timeline in any way ?

• you need to communicate to them through the IRCC WEBFORM FOR CSE
• no, i don't think so. but doing so earlier the better.
