Passport name dot(.) Issue in Canadian Visa

I want to know about the dot(.) Issue in the passport name. In my e-passport of Bangladesh, my name is "S.M. SHAHRIAR AHMED" [with dot(.)] according to my all educational credentials. Will I face any problem for getting Canadian Visa for the dot(.) In my name.
