Hello guys,
Here's the thing, I received OPR and send my passport to VAC New York office as instructed immediately through USPS and included an USPS priority envelope with a prepaid $6.70 stamp (I ask for a prepaid envelope in a USPS store and this is what they give me. I got a tracking number for that). Because I don't know where it will be sent from, I didn't write the shipping address on the envelope but included a piece of paper with all my mailing address and other contact info. The VAC tracking shows " complete and in transit to applicant" since last Thursday and I called this morning and they (I mean the outsourced customer service not real VAC person) said they just put in the USPS dropbox yesterday. But the USPS tracking number is still "label created but not in the system yet". Now I'm really worried that if VAC people would care to check the envelope or write address on it at all. I contact USPS and they said they did not receive it and if there is no address they won't even scan it and will go directly to mail recovery center which I don't think anything would ever be found. Anyway, has anyone had similar experience? Does the actually shipping often fall behind VAC tracking? What should I do... the VAC email never respond..
Thanks,
J
