Passport expiry issues?

today i received PPR1, and here mention that "For your visas to have maximum validity, all passports should be valid for at least 12 months from the date of your medical examinations". and we did medical exam on 16 july 2013. now the problem is My son passport will expire on 01 april 2014. and according to this letter it should 16 july 2014( 3 month difference).... please tell me either i send same passport or go for new passport......

Hiii! I think you should make new passport and send new passport. I have the same problem, my passport is valid 8 months after medical exam not 12. I dont get visa yet. Where r u from?? Where is ur visa office?? I see u get ur visa very soon after medical( 3 weeks)

If it not take long in your country, then get new passport first
