Passport expiry help & Best flight from Delhi

Hi all -


I had just received my stamped visa and planning for a Feb landing. Had a few questions if anybody can guide me through

- My pp is expiring in 2017 and my spouse’s 2014. So, for my pp renewal will I need to apply through the Indian High commission based in CA ? as I know we cant aply for a CA passport till the time we complete 4yrs of stay in 5yrs that is when we get our citizenship…
- Which is the best flight from Delhi to Alberta (Edmonton) in terms of cheapest fare, 2 baggage(free) allowance…China eastern & Southern give cheap fares but their service, language issue etc have been quite common is what I heard… anybody who can share their exp and give the cheap flights and from where should I book…any specific website which offers deals etc..

U can renew ur PPs in Canada through Indian Consulate general....... For flights try .... KLM, Emirates

I can share with you my experience in China eastern flight between Shanghai and Vancouver. Yes, 23kg x 2 baggage allowance. service and language are the common issues. usually i book through ctrip.com.

I read earlier in this forum, some of the folks got tickets from BA under 40K INR(Guess this was Delhi- Toronto). Check them out as well. Pricing depends on Airline, the sectors they fly and the season around their schedules. No two would be similarly close.
