Passport dispatched- File not showing as approved in cic portal

Hello,

My file got approved on dec 11th and confirmed with the cic agent on 14 dec 2018.I mailed to ndvo for ppr and got a response on jan 7th,2019 asking to submit the passport. I did submitted the passport on jan 8th at vfs and passport reached ircc delhi on jan 9th.Today I got a message saying decision envelope has been couriered to me, but my status did not change to approved in cic portal. Should I have to worry about that.Is it normal or should i expect something else

P.S: I applied from US and currently in India and did not update the address.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

In most cases your profile will change to approve before the passport is sent to you, but in a few cases like yours, you passports and COPR will be received before your online status is updated.
There's nothing to worry about.

Did your online status change? I am having the same problem. Applied from USA, currently in India, received message that passport is dispatched but online status still shows submitted..

Passports are dispatched from IRCC...just got the VFS msgs..but CIC status still shows "submitted"..pls advice

I submitted my passports at Chennai VFS on April 23rd, reached IRCc on April 25
