Hi everyone, I'm hoping there is someone here that might be able to help as I can't find a definitive answer through CIC or the web.
My wife an I are in the last throws of completing our Express Entry profile and are looking to push it through and pay for the application in the next week as we have everything needed.
Our problem is that my wife's passport expires in November this year and we will be renewing it at some point during the assessment process. We are looking to do that asap but we would like to send our application off now. I have seen that you can make continued changes to your profile for things like passport changes, but can you alter this information once the application is fully complete, sent off and paid for?
If we do apply using her current passport and a decision is made and the visa is applied to that passport can it then be transferred onto her now one?
Basically, should we wait until she has her new passport arrives (7 weeks earliest!) before we apply, or can we apply now and make that change to our application later?
Any info would be much appreciated, thanks!
Mike
