Passport Application Form Identity documents

In Passport Application form we have to submit 1 piece of ID and we have to provide that id details on Page 2.

I'm providing my driver's licence. But the issue is:
Form says to write name as it appears on ID.

In my licence my name appears as lastname, firstname.

So I should write it in the same format or I should write it as firstname, lastname?

Firstname Lastname.
When they ask as in your Id, it just means all the words and letter must match, not the order. In the passport it is always Firstname Lastname

Thanks. But I already contacted Passport office and they asked me to write as it appears i.e lastname, firstname
