passport application and authorization form

When applying for a canadian passport, can I allow my spouse and my child to stay home while I bring all their documents with me at serice Canada? If so, is there a form that they must sign to authorize me file the application on their behalf?

The kids don't need to sign anything, you apply on their behalf anyway...
