Hi, my partner is currently studying as a commercial pilot over in BC . I have just come over and was wondering can I apply for a work visa whilst I'm here ? I'm here for 6 months with a ETA from United Kingdom .

You can apply for an open work permit if your relationship falls under a category that is recognized by CIC
