Hi,

I had a part job as a graduate assistant for two years in the USA and I worked as a full-time intern during my summers on CPT. ( I was an F1 visa student)
I want to apply for Canada PR and Am trying to understand if I could count the above-mentioned work experience for the Canada Immigration
If I can add this kind of experience: I have the employment agreements and w2 forms with me. Do I need an experience letter along with these documents? Are pay slips necessary?

And I never received a relieving letter from any company that worked within the USA. Is it essential to get one for Canada PR?

Currently, I work as a Financial Analyst (full time). So, this job falls under NOC 1112, Skill type A. But my part-time jobs and Internships were in different skill levels or NOCs. Please help me.

To be eligible for FSW, you need one year continuous experience which assume is NOC 1112. After that you can count your part-time jobs and internships if paid. You will need employment experience letters.

Thanks for the reply!

I'm currently working as a Financial analyst and I received this job after my post-graduation. To claim more work experience points, I wanted to utilize my part-time (Graduate Assistantship) work experience from my post-graduation program. I worked from Aug 2014 to May 2015 and my GA was renewed for the next year but only started from Aug 2015 and continued till May 2016 ( which was based on the academic year calendar). Additionally, I was offered to work as a student worker for the summer i.e from (Jun 2015 to Aug 2015), but I refused as I already received a full-time internship in HR for the summer.
So now I'm not sure was GA a continuous work experience or not because I had a break from it in the summer for the internship I mentioned above.

Does 1560 hours rule apply here? I'm asking this because If my GA was not a continuous work experience kind. Would I be able to claim at least one year of work experience from it?

Please help me!
